+ What information should I have ready before I call for service?
The most helpful information is a brief description of your concern and, if possible, the brand of your equipment.
+ What should I check before I call if my system won't come on?
Check your thermostat for proper settings. Check the power switch, this may be located on or near the furnace. Check to see if a breaker may need to be reset.
+ Can I get an estimate over the phone?
We generally do not provide estimates over the phone as there are a wide range of variables to consider when coming up with an HVAC solution. Our preference is to have a qualified comfort specialist come to your home to gather information and discuss options. We provide this free of charge as we feel this process is necessary to provide you with the choices that will help you make an educated decision regarding replacement of your system.
+ Can I request a specific service technician?
Yes.
+ How long does it take to replace my system?
A normal residential system change-out can usually be completed in one day, whether we replace the furnace only, furnace and coil, or all of the equipment.
+ Do you offer financing?
Yes. As your Rheem Contractor, financing is available through Kwik Comfort financing. We also accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
+ How much will it cost to replace my system?
Prices can range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars depending on each individual and mechanical need.
+ How often should I change my filter?
The rule of thumb that we follow is that filters should be changed when they are dirty. Time intervals will vary from system to system and with different filter sizes.
